I’m Betsy Rogers. \u00a0I’m an environmental educator in coastal Georgia, where I grew up. \u00a0Despite my subtropical upbringing, I’ve spent much of my adult life in the temperate rainforests, boreal forests, and rocky coastlines of Alaska.<\/p>\n
Newly launched, this site documents my musings on environmental education, place, flora and fauna, and other related topics. \u00a0I adore learning about the deep and richly complex landscapes around me — how we shape them and how they shape us, and hope to share this learning with you.<\/p>\n
I have a BS in Biology from Armstrong Atlantic State University in Savannah, GA and an MS in Outdoor and Environmental Education from Alaska Pacific University. \u00a0I’ve done environmental education on both coasts.<\/p>\n
